CSDNB Student receives award from SOCT

Destiny Little, CLIMB student and New Britain Unified Athlete, was awarded the Spirit of Life Award at the 2019 Special Olympics Connecticut Annual Awards Dinner designed to "celebrate our game changers."
Destiny represented CSDNB proudly as she received her award at the Aqua Turf on March 21, 2019. U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal attended the event along with other notable professional athletes and local television personalities.
The Spirit of Life Award was created in 1982 in tribute to our athletes and their accomplishments , both on the field and in life.
