Spanish Conversation about the 26-27 School Year Budget

The Consolidated School District of New Britain invites staff, families, and community members to attend a Community Budget Forum focused on the proposed 2026–2027 School Year Budget. 

El Distrito Escolar Unificado de New Britain invita al personal, las familias y los miembros de la comunidad a asistir a un foro comunitario sobre el presupuesto, centrado en el presupuesto propuesto para el año escolar 2026-2027.

Join Superintendent Dr. Tony Gasper for a presentation and community conversation about how the proposed budget supports student needs and district priorities. This forum provides an opportunity to learn more about the proposal, ask questions, and share feedback before the budget is presented to the New Britain Common Council.

Budget Advocacy

For the 2026-27 school year, CSDNB and districts like our are facing a critical budget shortfall.  Without substantial additional funding from the State and City, the Board of Education will be forced to make significant reductions in services and staffing.  You can help!  It’s important that our elected officials know about your support for our schools.

We encourage you to send a polite, respectful, and informed message to our elected officials.  Let them know that you are an active community member and that you support funding our schools.
