Dylan Yott-11th Grade-Co-Captain

I joined Robotics initially because my engineering teacher (also the supervisor of the Robotics program) urged the students in our Introduction to Engineering class to join. Also, I LOVE math and science, and Robotics gave me a place to apply my delicious knowledge.

I joined Robotics because it seemed like a fun activity to do afterschool with my friends and I wanted to learn more about building robots because in college, I want to major in engineering.

I joined Robotics because it´s a lot of fun, and I want to get a scholarship for engineering, and I know there´s a lot of cool people in Robotics.

I joined Robotics because it seemed like a really cool club. I enjoy designing and making things, and making a robot seemed really interesting. My friends and teachers also urged me to join.

I joined Robotics because it seemed really cool at the time, and it gave me opportunities to pursue further education in technology and problem solving in the engineering field.

I joined Robotics because my friend Dylan "made" me join. (Laughs) Actually, I chose to join, but I´m glad he kept bothering me because this was my first engineering experience, and I really enjoy it; both the challenges and the friends I´ve made along the way.

I joined robotics because I enjoy thinking critically and working hands on to solve real life problems and applications. I also am looking to pursue a career in engineering in my future.

I joined robotics because I like to design and make stuff, and after I joined I really enjoyed it. At first I thought the club was just whatever, but now, I´m really dedicated to it. I love the challenge and it´s very interesting.

I joined robotics because I felt like it and I planned at an early age to become an engineer.

Lindsey Khamphouvong- 12th grade

The reason I joined robotics was because I wanted to learn more about engineering. I´ve taken engineering classes since the 8th grade and I´ve never actually experienced hands on with any material, I mainly worked on computers and CAD programs. I´m happy I joined the robotics team because I´ve been able to see how things work, and I´ve been able to hear a lot of different ideas and it really stretched my creative mind towards what we could´ve built for our tasks. This is my second year, and I´m glad I joined.

Adam Federkiewicz- 12th Grade

I joined robotics because in 8th grade, I took an engineering class with Mr. Oullette, and when I got to high school, he was the one who ran the robotics and solar car team, so I decided to join. I decided to stay in the club due to the amount of hands-on work we do.

I joined robotics because I believed I could be an asset to the club. Also, Mr. Ouellette was a great teacher and I thought I could learn something from him about technology.
